With a strong reputation for quality, we are expanding our team and looking for a dedicated Electrical Tutor to deliver high‑quality training to apprentices and learners.
Responsibilities
* Teach electrical installation theory and practice in line with awarding body standards.
* Support apprentices through Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications (City & Guilds / EAL).
* Assess and provide constructive feedback on coursework.
* Monitor progress, attendance, and achievement while maintaining accurate records.
* Provide pastoral support and safeguarding for learners' wellbeing.
* Collaborate with colleagues, employers, and external bodies to ensure the highest standards of training delivery.
* Stay up to date with industry developments to keep your teaching relevant and current.
Essential requirements
* Level 3 Electrical technical qualification (or equivalent).
* GCSE/O Level Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
* Teaching experience in electrical installations, including blended/remote delivery.
* A recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 (or willingness to work towards one).
* Current industry knowledge with verifiable post-qualification experience.
* Strong IT, presentation, and communication skills.
Desirable (not essential)
* Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely).
* Assessor and/or internal verifier qualifications (A1/TAQA / V1).
* Experience within the contracting or building services sector.
