Location: Salford, Chapel St Vimto Gardens
Salary: £37,440 - £41,600 per annum plus great benefits
Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Guide the commercial and community strategies in your store.
- Lead the team and show them how to make shopping at Co‑op a fantastic experience.
- Empower your team to deliver great service, personally promoting the Co‑op difference to customers and members.
- Build an inclusive culture where everyone can speak up and share their views.
- Develop your team through regular performance conversations to help them reach their potential.
- Ensure the store is safe, legal and operational.
- Manage and optimise the store’s commercial performance, recruit new team members and handle HR processes.
Qualifications
- Experience guiding and developing a team in a busy, service-focused environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coach, motivate and inspire the team.
- Resilience and great problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to understand and analyse commercial information.
- Willingness to support the team with delivery of store activities.
