This advert is for three roles, two Administrative Assistant in our Recruitment Team and an Administrative Assistant in our Payroll Team - Details Below.

We have an exciting opportunity to come and join the HR Shared Services Team working in either the Payroll or HR Administration sections.
\n
Payroll
\n
The successful candidate will be involved in the processing of payments to all employees of the Council on a monthly basis. The duties will include: -
\n
• Processing changes on relevant systems, ensuring that all information received is accurate.
\n
• Calculation of payroll payments in accordance with current Legislation and Terms and Conditions of Service.
\n
• Recording of performance information for Service Level Agreement and Key Performance Indicators.
\n
• To work in close partnership with colleagues in functional processing teams within HR Shared Services.
\n
• Contribution to process improvements and review of working practices to ensure fitness for purpose and efficiency.
\n
• Use of relevant computer systems, including Microsoft Office suite.
\n
• Active engagement in learning processes and underpinning policy and procedures across HRSS functional areas of Payroll, HR and Pensions.
\n
• Contribute to team effectiveness through active participation in departments activities linked to overall organizational aims and objectives.
\n
The vacancy is for 35.00 hours on a permanent basis.
\n
HR Administration
\n
The successful candidates will provide high quality, consistent transactional processing to all SBC employees and potential employees.
\n
Administer all aspects of updating and maintaining candidate and employee information in the relevant systems to ensure employer obligations are met to agreed service standards. The duties will include: -
\n
• Processing changes on relevant systems, ensuring that all information received is accurate.
\n
• Administering recruitment of candidates in accordance with current Legislation and Terms and Conditions of Service.
\n
• Answering queries from all levels of employees by phone or email.
\n
• To work in close partnership with colleagues in functional processing teams within HR Shared Services.
\n
• Contribution to process improvements and review of working practices to ensure fitness for purpose and efficiency.
\n
• Use of relevant computer systems, including Microsoft Office suite.
\n
• Active engagement in learning processes and underpinning policy and procedures across HRSS functional areas of Payroll, HR and Pensions.
\n
• Contribute to team effectiveness through active participation in departments activities linked to overall organizational aims and objectives.
\n
The vacancy is for two positions 35.00 hours or 24.50 hours on a permanent basis.
Essential
HNC in relevant discipline or extended period of processing experience in one or more functional area.
\n
Experience of working in a high volume, deadline driven customer service environment
