The Role

We’re looking for a Plumber to join Raven Housing Trust’s Repairs team, delivering reliable and efficient plumbing repairs across a range of residential properties. You’ll carry out a variety of plumbing works, ensuring every job is completed to a high standard and provides a positive experience for residents.

You’ll join an organisation that values belonging, ownership, and collaboration—where your voice matters and your impact is felt across our communities. We’re proud of our inclusive, supportive culture and our commitment to professional development.

What you’ll be doing

  • Diagnosing plumbing faults and completing repairs efficiently, ensuring work is completed right first time wherever possible
  • Preparing and carrying out a range of plumbing tasks, including installing, repairing and replacing pipework, bathrooms and kitchen components such as baths, basins, toilets, sinks, waste systems, and drainage.
  • Carrying out basic wall tiling as part of bathroom and kitchen repairs
  • Delivering a great customer experience by communicating clearly with residents and keeping them informed throughout the job
  • Always working safely and in line with health and safety regulations, including COSHH and safe working practices.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a recognised qualification in Plumbing (C&G Level 3 or NVQ Level 2)
  • Proven experience carrying out plumbing repairs in a customer-focused environment
  • The ability to assess plumbing issues and use your expertise to identify the most effective solutions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain work clearly and keep residents informed throughout each job
  • Experience using mobile technology to receive and update work records
  • Follows risk assessments, manufacturer’s guidance, and all health and safety procedures, including COSHH and manual handling
  • Holds a full, clean UK driving licence.

Why join Raven?

At Raven, we’re more than just a housing association — we’re a community-focused organisation committed to creating positive change. You’ll be joining a supportive, forward-thinking team where your ideas and expertise will genuinely make a difference.
