The Role: The School Administrator will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. You will often be the first point of contact for parents, students, visitors and staff, so a professional and approachable manner is essential. The role involves handling phone calls, responding to emails, maintaining accurate student records, processing documentation, and supporting teachers, pastoral teams and senior leaders with administrative tasks. Daily responsibilities may include updating attendance data, communicating with parents, producing letters and documents, maintaining registers, preparing information packs, printing and distributing materials, and supporting the organisation of school events such as parents’ evenings, induction days, open evenings and training sessions. You may also support admissions processes, assist with the coordination of meetings, take minutes and prepare reports where needed. In addition, you will help manage the school calendar, monitor internal communication channels, ensure deadlines are met and support other members of the admin team during peak periods. The role requires someone who can work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a busy environment.
