Claims Adjuster | Global Markets | Hybrid Working | Glasgow- Based | Up to £30k

Our client, a leading international insurance organisation is seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join its Global Markets team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of complex and varied claims. You’ll be responsible for:
1. Full lifecycle claims handling including coverage analysis, investigation, and evaluation of policy liability, legal liability, and quantum
2. Working across Marine, Aviation, Property, or Casualty Claims (experience in any of these is beneficial, but not required)
3. Delivering service excellence to clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
4. Negotiate and settle claims efficiently and fairly
5. Manage your own caseload, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and cost control
6. Collaborate with a range of professionals including policyholders, brokers, loss adjusters, solicitors, and third parties
7. Support and work closely with third-party service providers to maintain service standards
8. Represent the company at internal and external meetings, including with brokers and key clients
9. Contribute to key client relationship management through responsive and professional communication
10. Assist senior adjusters, managers, and underwriters with ad hoc projects and team support
What We’re Looking For
11. Previous claims handling experience, ideally in complex or commercial lines
12. Experience in Marine, Aviation, Property, or Casualty Claims is a plus
13. Strong customer service skills and professional communication (written and verbal)
14. Progress toward or completion of professional qualifications (e.g. ACII) is preferred
15. A proactive team player who can also manage an independent caseload
