We are currently recruiting for several Spider Crane Operatives to join our central London team.
As the Spider Crane Operative, you will be required to:
1. Operate travelling or stationary overhead cranes to lift, move, and position loads, such as machinery, equipment, products, and materials.
2. Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to instructions.
3. Clean and maintain the crane and hoisting mechanism.
4. Inspect the crane for defective parts and notify the supervisor of any defects or malfunctions.
To be successful in this position the Spider Crane Operative must have:
5. Safety Critical Medical
6. Blue CPCS Card - CPCS A66a Compact Crane – Static Stabilisers
7. Knowledge of civils construction practices, lifting plant and equipment
8. Understanding of relevant information relating to different types of lifting accessories, i.e. markings, certificates, and thorough examination reports, etc.
9. Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, thorough examination and testing requirements for lifting equipment and accessories
10. Minimum 6 months experience operating a Spider crane
