Electrical Technician
Salary £37,477 - £51,531 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday

As an Electrical Technician at FCC Environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our energy-from-waste facility. This hands-on position involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of electrical systems and equipment across the site.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days a week.

What will you be doing?
* Operate and maintain electrical systems to ensure plant reliability
* Diagnose, investigate, and resolve electrical faults across plant equipment
* Assist with planning and executing method statements and risk assessments
* Support the Engineer in maintaining calibration and communication systems
* Respond to emergency breakdowns and participate in the out-of-hours service
* Contribute to plant shutdown maintenance and contractor supervision
* Participate in training and promote safe working practices at all times
What are we looking for?
We Are Looking For a Qualified Electrical Technician With
* A background in power generation, process, or similar industrial environments
* Experience with high voltage equipment (desirable)
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Experience supervising contractors and managing maintenance contracts
* A commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and team collaboration
