As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team by ensuring accurate and timely management of financial records for suppliers and purchases. Your work will help maintain smooth business operations by processing financial information correctly, supporting timely payments, and improving efficiency across the department. Duties include but are not limited to: Process invoices accurately and post to nominal and client ledgers. Record all direct debits and regular payments onto the system. Match invoices and credit notes to purchase orders and delivery notes. Investigate and resolve invoice queries or discrepancies promptly. Prepare and process supplier payments, ensuring proper authorization. Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing details within the purchase ledger. Reconcile supplier statements and keep accounts up to date. Maintain accurate records of transactions and supporting documentation. Update cashflow with supplier payments.
