Information Technician Country: UK Location: Roaming - North West Hours: 37.5 (7.5 per day between 7am and 7pm) Role Type: Permanent Life on the team We provide intermediate to advanced level desktop installation, configuration, support and troubleshooting services. We can also provide basic Wintel server installation, configuration, administration and break fix repairs. We support multiple business across the UK with their IT services, with our Engineers working at our customer sites to provide hands on support. What youll do The role will be based onsite across a number of our customers offices across the North West Provide basic to intermediate level desktop installation Configuration, support and troubleshooting services in the Wintel environment Providing basic desktop support, offering simple fixes and fixing known errors Provide effective and efficient customer service to the customer Communicate with the customer keeping them informed progress to avoid escalations Becoming hardware and software skilled and accredited through the appropriate vendor training programmes. What youll need Experience of working in an IT support role, ideally in a corporate environment Desire to further your career in desktop support in a corporate setting To be eligible for SC and DV clearance Customer focused, happy to provide great service to users in a professional environment Adaptable and welcoming of change and communicating change to customers Great customer facing skills with the ability to build rapport with customers at all levels Ability to develop technical skills.
