Electronics Lab Technician – Berkshire – up to £35,000 + Benefits – REF 2032.
Permanent role supporting engineers in designing and developing products. Responsibilities include assembling prototypes, conducting tests, documenting results, soldering, PCB rework, harness preparation, and operating 3D printers and an EMC test chamber.
Essential Requirements
* Experience as an Electronics Lab Technician, Electronics Engineer, Electronics Test Engineer, Prototype Engineer, Bench Technician or similar.
* Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, signal generators and/or logic analyzers.
Desirable Requirements
* Experience working in a laboratory.
* Experience with soldering.
* Security clearance (SC clearance).
* PCB design and schematic capture (ideally Altium).
* Experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, sensors, microcontrollers, power supplies, motors, or embedded systems.
* Experience with ESD handling, component identification, and PCB inspection.
