As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, your expertise is key to producing impactful analyses, focusing on Residential and Buy-to-let mortgages, Bridging Loans, and Asset Finance. Your role involves end-to-end MI production and proactively enhancing reporting to respond to emerging trends. Leverage your experience in Consumer Finance/Retail Banking, Credit Risk fundamentals, and Financial Services. What you will be doing
You will lead the production and enhancement of regular and ad-hoc Credit Risk analysis, providing insights to optimize the risk-reward balance of lending assets in line with strategic and financial objectives within the Board-approved risk appetite.
Your responsibilities include:
1. End-to-end production of daily, weekly, and monthly MI, identifying performance trends in mortgages, bridging loans, asset finance, etc.
2. Enhancing reporting suite to address emerging trends and new requirements.
3. Providing insights and recommendations on portfolio composition, trends, and performance.
4. Performing in-depth portfolio and market data analysis to improve credit strategies and lending performance; supporting internal and regulatory queries.
5. Utilizing internal and external credit bureau data to monitor performance.
6. Leading critical analytical work streams like Risk Appetite setting and monitoring.
7. Supporting wider Risk function activities, including lifecycle and product performance analysis.
In return for your commitment
We offer a salary between £45,000 - £55,000, plus benefits including:
