About the role
Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) is now recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an Incident Management Lead to join a new team. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of incidents/crises, including the ongoing development and embedding of the Operation Resilience Incident Management Framework, standards, and processes across the organisation. Your goal will be ensuring HL operates in a way that minimises disruption to clients, colleagues, and processes.
What you’ll be doing
1. Leading the coordination of incidents across the organisation in line with HL Incident and Crisis Management Framework, standards, and processes.
2. Creating and embedding a suite of Crisis Management standards and processes across the organisation, ensuring that those within crisis management understand their roles and responsibilities, and how to operate during a crisis/incident.
3. Monitoring, maintaining, and updating the Crisis Management Framework.
4. Creating, maintaining, and delivering Crisis Management training.
5. Working with stakeholders across Digital, Cyber, Data, Third Parties, Risk, and the 1st line teams to create and embed a robust, centralised process for incident management.
6. Maintaining professional competence by staying updated on regulatory knowledge through industry forums and internal engagement.
7. Collaborating with stakeholders to monitor early signs of incidents, assess potential impacts, and invoke appropriate crisis responses (Bronze/Silver/Gold), progressing to incident recovery.
8. Establishing and managing an effective incident communication process, ensuring key stakeholders are informed throughout the incident lifecycle.
9. Conducting root cause analysis post-incident and driving improvements based on findings.
10. Preparing reports and dashboards on incidents/crises for senior and executive stakeholders.
11. Deputising for Senior Manager Scenario Testing and Incident Management when required, including participation in resilience meetings.
About you

Interview process
The process includes a two-stage interview with a task assessment.
Working Schedule
This role is based in Bristol, BS1 5HL. It is a permanent, full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a hybrid flexible working pattern, allowing work from home and office attendance. The team must be available on a 7am-7pm rota.
