Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer with deep expertise in C++ to lead the design, development, and optimization of complex software systems. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable, and maintainable solutions that support our core business and data infrastructure.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Design and implement robust software components using C++.
* Architect and maintain scalable systems for data processing, analytics, and storage.
* Optimize performance-critical code and ensure low-latency data handling.
* Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices.
* Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and product teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
* Ensure software reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
* Write and maintain technical documentation and unit/integration tests.
* Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and contribute to sprint planning.
Technical Skills
* Education: Bachelor\'s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Experience: 10+ years in software development with strong proficiency in C++.
* Technical Skills: Object-oriented design, multi-threading, STL, Boost, Linux/Unix.
* Architecture & Tools: Familiarity with debugging/profiling tools, CI/CD, version control, Git.
* Framework Knowledge: Exposure to enterprise architecture standards; TOGAF certification desirable.
* Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities.
* Preferred Qualifications: Experience with distributed systems or real-time data pipelines; familiarity with Python, Java, or other languages; exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
