About the Role
Cornwall Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Principal Social Worker to join their Family Help Team based in Redruth. Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and expert guidance within the Family Help Team
* Support complex casework and decision-making to ensure high standards of practice
* Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
* Promote a culture of reflective practice and learning
* Work collaboratively with partners to deliver effective interventions
* Ensure children and families receive timely and appropriate support

Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
* Significant experience in children and families social work
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills
* Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation
* Ability to support and guide complex cases effectively
