Hours: 39 hours a week; 13 Month Contract. Salary: From £9.50 Per Hour. Location: 59 Victoria Street, Paignton TQ4 5EE.
What you’ll do
* Provide excellent customer service, primarily at the till point, delivering great service and ensuring customers don’t miss out on our Star Buys.
* Help keep the store well stocked and maintain a high level of store presentation; actively work toward store targets.
* Work with your Assessor and store team to improve communication, teamwork and organisational skills; participate in employability activities (interview skills, CV preparation, money management, health and wellbeing).
* Complete in-store training; at the end of training, undertake an end point assessment and, on successful completion, achieve a Retail L2 Apprenticeship.
* Explore potential progression opportunities during the apprenticeship, including becoming a sales advisor or moving into other retail roles.
* Engage in an in-store training environment with in-house support and opportunities for development and career progression.
What you’ll need
* Confident and clear communication skills; a passion for retail and customer service.
* Desire to learn and improve knowledge/skills; willingness to carry out piercing services for customers (training provided).
* Flexible working hours and adaptability to change.
* GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or equivalent (or better).
* Not currently in education and available for full-time shifts; not yet completed a Retail Apprenticeship.
* Eligible to work in the UK; brand new to retail.
