The Role: Senior People Advisor
Location: Hybrid between your home, our offices in Greater Manchester and client sites, primarily within the northwest region. Each week can look different but there is likely to be 2-3 days onsite or in the office each week.
Pay: Up to £45,000 pa DOE + Profit Share Annual Bonus

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Senior People Advisor to join our growing People Team.
Our 200+ clients are ambitious SME’s, of all shapes and sizes, in a broad range of industry sectors and at different stages in their business journey, from start up to established.
The successful person will work with a portfolio of clients, across multiple industries. You will act as their trusted Advisor supporting across a variety of different business requirements, from reactive Employee Relations (ER) support to implementing long term strategic People initiatives.
As a Senior People Advisor, you will confidently interact with stakeholders at all levels from employees and managers up to senior leadership and board level.
You will be adept at advising on complex ER issues with a commercially focused and sensitive approach.
You add value by gaining an in-depth knowledge of our clients' unique businesses and developing strong working relationships as part of their extended team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of clients and be ultimately responsible for delivering their co-sourcing HR solutions.
* Advise your clients on any employee relations issues with a commercial approach that shows understanding of their unique business needs whilst ensuring they understand legal risks.
* Work with the client to execute advice within agreed timescales and take a hands-on approach where required.
* Develop and deliver People projects as agreed which could include working with our L&D Advisor to address training requirements.
* Manage the creation of HR documents, to support advice including letters, forms, policies & procedures. Ensuring high standards of output and a tailored approach to each client.
* Use a variety of sources to stay up to date on HR trends and employment law, ensuring that you are providing current & relevant information to clients and remain up to date with legislative changes.
* Attend on-site as agreed as part of the client service offering or as required to attend meetings and carry out project work.
* Take a proactive approach to engaging your portfolio and ensuring they always receive the best possible service.
* Proactively engage with our internal FACT3 team to support delivery of business goals.
About You:
The Essentials:
Qualifications
* CIPD Qualified- minimum level 5 or equivalent.
Experience
* Extensive experience in HR Business Partner, HR Manager or Senior HR advisor roles.
* Strong technical employment law experience & knowledge of managing complex and high-risk situations.
* Experience implementing proactive people strategies or projects aligned with business goals. For example, employee engagement initiatives.
* Practice working alongside L&D to deliver high quality training.
* Proven experience working with managers and senior leaders to provide an effective People service.

* Interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders including senior business leaders.

* CIPD- Level 7.

* Working in a client facing role.

* Preparing for and attending at tribunal.
* Proven track record of working with SME’s.
* Working across multiple sectors.
* Coaching and supporting junior colleagues.
