Role Description
Part-Time Administrative Assistant (with Sage Accounting Experience)
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Hours: Part-time – 3 days per week (flexible hours considered)
Salary: Dependent on experience

We are a well-established air conditioning company based in Maidstone, providing high-quality HVAC services to commercial clients across London and the south-east. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our small, friendly team.
Role Overview:
This part-time position is key to the smooth running of our back-office operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative and accounting duties, with a particular focus on Sage accounting software. Experience with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
General office administration and clerical support
Invoicing, credit control, and processing supplier invoices using Sage
Bank reconciliation and maintaining accurate financial records
Payroll preparation support (including CIS if applicable)
Managing customer and supplier accounts
Answering phone calls, handling emails, and booking appointments
Supporting the Director and engineers with scheduling and paperwork
Filing and maintaining digital records in an organised manner
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience using Sage Accounting software (essential)
Solid administrative background, ideally within a trade or construction-related business
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) experience preferred
