Key Responsibilities
As a Senior/Associate Rights of Light Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert advice to high-profile clients on various projects, including some of the most iconic developments in the UK. Your responsibilities will include:
* Undertaking detailed rights of light analyses using specialist software.
* Advising clients on daylight, sunlight, overshadowing, and related planning issues.
* Providing strategic input into project development to meet client goals.
* Liaising with architects, planners, developers, and legal professionals to provide robust, commercially focused advice.
* Supporting team growth by mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development initiatives.
Key Requirements
* Experience in rights of light, daylight & sunlight, or related disciplines.
* Strong technical knowledge and proficiency with rights of light software tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse clients.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with keen attention to detail.
* Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS, CIAT) are advantageous but not essential.
