Responsibilities and Duties
* Being involved in developing and delivering high quality, stimulating, creative and welcoming environment for the children within the nursery.
* Be responsible for the planning and implementation of activities relevant to the age/stage of development of the children in their care.
* Working with the EYFS and completing online journals/ observations/ assessments for your key children.
* Supporting room leaders in every day running of the room.
* Building good working relationships with children, staff and parents.
* To provide a range of activities relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage independence, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn.
* Promote good hygiene practices.
* Follow Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements guidelines set by Ofsted
* Attending regular supervision and training as agreed with the nursery manager/Owner and have a willingness to continue your own professional development.
* Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
About you
* Hold a relevant Early Years Qualification
* Have a good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding duties, nursery procedures and policies
* Have good knowledge of birth to 5 development and the EYFS curriculum
* Have excellent organisational and time management skills
* Demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge in Early Years and have full understanding of children's emotional, physical, psychological and educational developmental needs
* A positive attitude with an unwavering commitment to service excellence to allow us to maintain our high standards
* Be able to work as a team
* Have a professional attitude and manner
