Referral & Placement Officer (Lead on Children with Disabilities)
Warwickshire County Council are looking to recruit a Referral and Placement Officer who will become a specialist in Short Breaks for Children with Disabilities.

You will join the Family Finding Hub that consists of; 2 managers, 2 FT social workers, 7 fostering and hub social workers and currently 4 Referral and Placement Officers.

Our approach is about locality working, multi disciplinary and multi agency teams that support the whole family. Building strong partnerships with local services, Health, Police and Education.

What will you do? You will work alongside our Referral and Placement Officers (RPO’s) whilst having a lead in Children with Disabilities. The RPO’s are responsible for all our external searches including fostering, residential, supported accommodation and short breaks.
The ability to work in partnership is essential, along with meticulous organisation skills, enthusiasm, and creativity.

The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
