***YARD OPERATIVE***
We're delighted to be recruiting a reliable and experienced Yard Operative to join an established and highly respected supplier within the civil engineering and construction sector.

As a Yard Operative you can expect a varied, hands-on role in a fast-paced yard environment where no two days are the same. You'll play a key part in ensuring customers receive excellent service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the depot.
Salary competitive depending on experience + excellent benefits including 25 days holiday + bank holidays and enrolment into the company Employee Ownership Scheme
Key responsibilities for the Yard Operative include,
* Assisting customers and providing excellent customer service
* Loading customer vans and cars safely and efficiently
* Loading and unloading supplier deliveries
* Picking, checking and preparing customer orders
* Organising, storing and checking stock
* Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment
* Supporting the wider team with general yard duties
The ideal Yard Operative will need,
* Previous experience within a similar role
* Valid Counterbalance forklift licence
* Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Enjoy working as part of a close-knit team
* Have good attention to detail
* Be customer focused and approachable
* Be willing to learn and develop new skills
* Be physically fit and comfortable with lifting/moving stock
* Thrive in a busy outdoor working environment
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Hours 7.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday
