Our client located in Southend is recruiting for a Parts Cleaner to join their growing team
* Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour
* Location: Southend
* Job Type: Full-time (4 days on, 4 days off, including weekends)
We are looking for a diligent Parts Cleaner to join our team. This role involves cleaning and maintaining various machine parts, which will often be greasy. The position operates on a rotating schedule of 4 days on followed by 4 days off, including weekend shifts. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and doesn't mind getting a bit dirty to ensure the job is done right.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Cleaning various machine parts using specified tools and chemicals.
* Inspecting parts for wear and tear and reporting any damage.
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
* Adhering to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Logging cleaning tasks and other relevant activities during the shift.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* No previous experience required; full training will be provided.
* Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
* Comfortable working with greasy and oily parts.
* Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy components.
* Good organisational skills.
