About the role
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial office building in Barnet, North London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance to high standards within a team of 6, to ensure the smooth safety of all electrical systems and building services.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across the site
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
* Support building services operations including lighting, power, and emergency systems
* Participate in a 1‑in‑6 rotation (call‑outs)
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (essential)
* Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
* Good understanding of general HVAC and mechanical systems (desirable)
* Strong fault‑finding skills and a proactive, hands‑on approach
* Work collaboratively with the wider facilities team to maintain a high‑quality service environment
