The HR Advisor will work with our people managers to address issues across the business, spotting trends and sharing knowledge on individual ER cases to ensure best practice is developed and used.The key responsibilities for this role include:
1. Providing proactive, professional HR advice and guidance
2. Building effective working relationships with your stakeholders across the business, including Trade Union representatives, you will provide timely advice and guidance on a wide range of HR practices
3. Both verbally and in written format, assisting managers across the business, aiding them in their understanding and implementation of our policies in relation to your employment case portfolio
4. Assisting managers in informal and formal case meetings, including providing information and HR advice from initiation to resolution and escalating cases where appropriate
5. Collaborating with managers and collating the required documentation to formulate hearing packs, or signposting managers to the correct templates and policies
6. Attending formal case meetings, you will be responsible for taking appropriate notes and preparing relevant outcome documentation (case hearings may take place within a reasonable location)
7. Maintaining up to date records and suggesting improvements, you will be proactive in your approach, presenting options for the manager to enact, providing feedback where applicable
