Bellway is recruiting Trainee Assistant Site Managers to join its Apprenticeship Programme, starting 3 September 2026, within the Northern Home Counties division (Milton Keynes) .
Your Role
As a Trainee Assistant Site Manager, you’ll support the Site Manager and Construction Manager in managing all aspects of a construction development site.
You’ll help ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and cost-effectively, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service within agreed timescales.
You’ll Learn To:
* Follow all Health & Safety, Environmental and Waste Management policies
* Deliver production requirements in line with technical and planning documentation
* Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and warranty provider standards (NHBC, LABC Services)
* Coordinate practical completions alongside sales requirements
* Maintain site security and best practice
* Build in line with relevant standards, Codes of Practice and regulations
* Support Bellway’s Customer Care Policy
* Oversee site administration in line with divisional and Head Office requirements

Your Package
* Starting salary: £22,000
o Pay increases from 6 months, linked to performance milestones
* Car allowance: £4,250 per year

What We’re Looking For
* GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 / C or above) or equivalent
* Previous trade qualification desirable, but not essential
* Willingness to travel and stay away from home occasionally
* Flexible attitude and eagerness to learn
* Full UK driving licence
* Legal right to work in the UK
o This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

About the Apprenticeship
Qualification:
* Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor
Training:
Delivered virtually by NHBC, one day per week, alongside hands-on site experience.
Duration:
* Up to 18 months, plus End Point Assessment

You’ll begin your apprenticeship within the Northern Home Counties division. While Bellway aims to place you close to home, travel to additional sites will be required.
