Our client is a category leader in Manufacturing, committed to Manufacturing Excellence. Working through both innovation and investment, their product range is second to none! Business potential is excellent, creating the need for a Site Project Engineer to work at a prestigious manufacturing facility in the Nottinghamshire area. Your focus will be packaging biased projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a variety of processes to improve and challenge every day.
* Manage planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects, ensuring delivery on time and to budget.
* Cover suppliers' selection, financial control and customer acceptance.
* Own factory equipment including packaging, processing, and utilities.
* Report directly to the Project Engineering Manager, delivering pragmatic, value‑engineered projects to cost and time specification.
* Coach, mentor and develop multi‑functional teams of engineers, designers and contractors to ensure successful delivery of projects.
* Lead engineering and production teams during equipment installation, start‑up, supplier selection, URS (User Requirement Specifications), feasibility and justification analysis, and equipment commissioning.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Graduate calibre engineer with mechanical, chemical or electrical bias, ideally with experience in complex process manufacturing.
* Methodical and detailed worker.
* Background in chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally in a regulated environment from high‑volume manufacturing.
* Experience developing technical engineering solutions in automated environments.
* Experienced Project Engineer from manufacturing, open to industry as long as it is complex and time‑sensitive.
