The company are looking for a proactive Senior Commercial Manager to use their knowledge of contract administration, supply chain and client management. You should have a natural financial acumen with good negotiation, communication and people skills. The company are keen to hear from candidates who have a strong track record of cost and budgetary control.
Your Role:
Managing costs and risks for critical projects, ensuring compliance with required standards.
* Leading and developing a commercial team.
* Reviewing tenders, managing variations, and ensuring contract compliance.
* Monitoring project costs and overseeing payment processes.
* Regular site visits to ensure project progress and quality.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
* A strong background in commercial management, ideally within the construction industry or a related sector.
* Proven track record in cost and budgetary control, ensuring projects remain financially viable.
* Expertise in contract administration (preferably NEC4), tender reviews, and risk assessment.
* Experience managing supply chain relationships, securing profitable agreements, and developing strategic partnerships.
