The successful Lettings Administrator will have the following responsibilities:
* Confirm and acknowledge all newly agreed tenancies with both Landlord and Tenants
* Conduct Right to Rent, AML and Credit check as well as obtain references
* Arrange inspections to ensure properties are fit for purpose
* Prepare and execute lease agreements as well as any other agreements which may be negotiated
* Compile, complete and ensure compliance of all related documentation requirements
* Arrange check in inventories and the collection of advertising boards
* Liaise regularly with Landlords and Tenants
* Work closely with other areas of the business to enable clarity and support for new tenancies
* Negotiate any additional requests made by any and all parties
* The candidate will also learn some areas of front office as they will be supporting this as required. This includes but is not limited to; discussing with clients properties which are available to rent, booking viewings, coordinating keys and general office administration work. There may also be a requirement to conduct viewings.
* The successful Lettings Administrator will have the following skills and experience:
* Demonstrable experience of administrative accuracy
* Self-motivated
* Computer literate
* Numeracy and forward planning skills
* Face to face customer service experience
* High attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
* Experience in negotiations
* Ability to work in a fast-paced but rewarding environment
* Full valid driver's license and car inclusive of business use insurance
* Hours are 09:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday and one Saturday in 3 with a day off in lieu.
* Location: Lakenheath, Suffolk with work from our Beck Row, Suffolk office if required.
