Works Coordinator Ely - Cambridgeshire £30,553 - £32,161 per year 40 hours per week We have an opportunity for a Works Coordinator to join our Quantity Surveying Team. The team currently consists of 3 members of staff, You will be responsible for delivering, coordinating and maintaining effective and efficient coordinative systems to support the delivery of services. Responsible for supporting the commercial and project delivery teams by coordinating all aspects of work measurement, valuation, and financial control. This role ensures that project costs are accurately tracked, variations are properly managed, and client requirements are met efficiently and professionally. The role of Works Coordinator will include: Supporting the Quantity Surveying team with effective communication to ensure accurate and timely information is collected and coordinated to meet the required timescales. Manage the Quantity Surveying (QS) mailbox, ensuring timely coordination and delegation of incoming communications to the appropriate personnel or department Liaise between site teams, subcontractors, and the quantity surveying department to ensure smooth information flow Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including work schedules, progress reports, and financial summaries Support the preparation of bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documentation Assist in managing subcontractor and internal teams accounts, including valuation of variations and final accounts Support the QS team in identifying, pricing, and documenting variations and change orders Maintain accurate records for audit and quality assurance purposes Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in commercial processes Providing quality statistical information on key performance indicators to assist managers in target setting, performance monitoring and updating dashboards and implementing improvements where needed Support in project/contractor meetings including meeting minutes and following up actions.
