The Role – Client Account Manager
As a Client Account Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role within the client accounts function, supporting the delivery of exceptional service across loc8me portfolios nationwide.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational performance of the client accounts team, ensuring processes are efficient, deadlines are met, and both landlords and tenants receive a professional, high-quality experience.
Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll lead, support and develop a team while helping drive performance, accountability and continuous improvement across the department.
This is a fast‑paced leadership role that requires strong organisational skills, confidence managing people, and a proactive mindset.
Key duties and requirements include:
* Developing the team to deliver and maintaining great relationships with Landlords, Tenants, and Contractors
* Carry out monthly rent arrears meetings with higher investors
* Ensuring all team payment deadlines are fulfilled in a timely manner
* Assisting with escalated rent arrears and complaint handling
* Developing processes to ensure the Tenant and Landlord experience is exceptional
* Review and audit the accounts team performance
* Quality operations to ensure the team are working to the best of their abilities
* Recruit new team members
* Set company KPIs and review on a monthly basis with the Finance director
* Deliver monthly 1-2-1s, staff reviews and annual appraisals
* Provide initial and ongoing training to all team members
* Build & maintain effective working relationships with the branches
Essential skills:
* Excellent organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills to provide a high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders
* Accounting and financial administration experience preferred
* Experience and knowledge of the Property and Lettings Industry – ideal but not essential
* Self‑motivated and ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
* Previous experience of managing a team
* Flexible and adaptable in approach to work
* Experience in a finance or client accounts environment is desirable but mindset, drive and attitude matter just as much

Details & Salary
* Hours of work: 9am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday
* Starting Salary: From £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
