Recovery Worker (Community Drug and Alcohol Service)
Our Recovery Workers work with our clients to help them determine what their goals, ambitions, and passions are, working with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to get them back onto the path to recovery.
Main duties of the job
Successful candidates will work as part of the adult community team, alongside in-house services which include outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice and a residential rehabilitation facility. Job responsibilities
Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You'll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery. This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery.
You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they're always treated with respect and dignity. As part of this role, you will be required to work on a Saturday between the hours of 9am - 5pm on a rotational basis. Hours worked during this time will be toiled between Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Experience
* You will be a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships.
* Demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist setting, ideally with those with substance misuse issues.
* You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills, and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained.
* Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to our service users and key stakeholders.
