A highly successful and growing business is seeking to appoint a Head of Procurement & Sustainability to lead a critical function at the heart of its operations.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering procurement strategy, driving supplier performance, and embedding sustainability initiatives across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in influencing commercial outcomes, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the organisation’s long-term environmental objectives.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will:
* Lead strategic sourcing, supplier engagement, and contract negotiations
* Drive cost optimisation, quality improvement, and delivery performance
* Develop and implement a forward-thinking sustainability strategy aligned to net-zero goals
* Oversee risk management across the supply chain and procurement activities
* Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team
* Provide oversight of facilities and property-related matters
* Deliver continuous improvement through digital tools, analytics, and innovation
* Engage senior stakeholders through business cases and strategic insight
This is a broad and impactful role combining commercial leadership, operational excellence, and sustainability transformation .
The Candidate
We are looking for a strategic and commercially astute leader with:
* Proven experience in a senior procurement leadership role
* Strong background in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain-led businesses
* Demonstrable success in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost control
* Experience driving sustainability or ESG initiatives within complex organisations
* Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
* Strong analytical, financial, and decision-making skills
Experience with facilities management, property oversight, and regulatory compliance would be advantageous.
