Role Overview
One part‑time Scheme Support Officer (24hrs) in a Supported Accommodation scheme in Pontypridd. The working pattern can vary between days, sleep‑ins and weekend/bank holiday availability. This is a Scheme Support Officer role based in our Supported accommodation service, Castle House Project, Pontypridd. Working alongside the Scheme Manager, we have a team of Scheme Support Officers & Project Workers, providing 24/7 Support to our diverse group of customers. Working in a team, you will provide support to homeless individuals over the age of 18, focusing on offenders and those with substance & alcohol misuse issues. An adaptive approach is required, as the role involves supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours. The mission is to offer housing related support, and equip the individuals with the skills they need to transition into independent living.
Responsibilities
Provide support to homeless individuals over the age of 18, focusing on offenders and those with substance & alcohol misuse issues. Deliver 24/7 support as part of the team. Adapt support plans to meet individuals with complex needs and behaviours. Assist individuals with housing related support and empower them to transition into independent living.
Qualifications
* A passion to work with and enable people to live as an independent life as possible
* An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people's lives
* A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
* Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Access to a vehicle.

Pay and Pensions
* £24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour)
* Sleep‑in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift
