Cover Supervisor

Rate of Pay: £100 per day
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, is considering a future career in teaching, or is looking for a rewarding role within a school environment.
About the role:
* Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Support students with their learning, responding to questions and promoting positive engagement.
* Maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment and ensure high standards of behaviour.
* Record attendance, distribute resources, and oversee the completion of set work.
* Provide support across the school when required, including duties, admin tasks, or intervention sessions.

What we are looking for:
* Experience working with children within a school or similar setting i.e. youth work (Desirable but not essential).
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
* Good communication and time-management skills.
* Clear and good understanding of safeguarding.
* Ability to remain calm, organised, and adaptable in a busy school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
