The Successful Candidate Will Also Be Responsible For
* Ensuring section adherence to 5S standards.
* Taking a proactive approach to meeting section targets.
* Taking ownership for and follows through on full scope of work tasks and projects within remit.
* Working in a manufacturing environment and approaching work with a "can-do" attitude and a sense of commitment to both team and customer objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Completed a formal engineering apprenticeship or Previous experience of mechanical engineering in the aerospace industry (DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE OF THIS MUST BE SUBMITTED AT THE POINT OF APPLICATION E.G - Log Book/ Certifications)
* Relevant Gas Turbine Engine overhaul experience
* Strong attention to detail
* Team player with flexible approach
* Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
* Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
* The role requires current or previously held A stamp status.
Desired Characteristics
* Previous experience using OEM shop manuals
* Experience working in a line maintenance environment
* Experience working within large diverse teams
* Previous working knowledge of SAP
* Effective interpersonal skills
* A demonstrable desire to learn and grow with advances in technology
* An understanding of Lean tools and methodologies
