Artis HR is supporting a well‑established organisation in recruiting an experienced Employee Relations Advisor for an immediate start. This is an initial 3‑month fixed‑term contract with the potential to extend. We are looking for someone who is confident handling a range of employee relations matters and can hit the ground running. The Role As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will deliver high‑quality, timely guidance across a broad range of employee relations issues. You will partner closely with leaders and managers to champion a people‑first approach while ensuring full compliance with employment legislation. Key responsibilities include: Providing clear, practical advice on disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence cases Coaching and supporting managers to develop capability and confidence Supporting formal ER meetings and ensuring fair, consistent outcomes Reviewing and contributing to the development of People policies, processes and training Managing wellbeing and attendance matters, including long‑term sickness cases Advising on inclusive recruitment and people processes Building strong working relationships across People Services, Finance, H&S and Trade Unions About You We are seeking candidates who have: CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience with willingness to work towards this) Strong generalist HR experience, including direct ER casework Excellent understanding of employment legislation Strong interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage multiple cases at pace A proactive, people‑focused approach A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, as travel between sites will be required.
