About AIRCLAD X redefining modular architecture for premium events, retail, and semi-permanent spaces. Our structures — from the iconic EXPRO systems, to the XIP, and Xtrail — are trusted globally by leading brands to deliver fast, beautiful, and functional environments.
We combine innovation, precision engineering, and industrial design to create spaces that challenge the ordinary.
The Role
We’re looking for a skilled Engineering Draftsperson to join our design and technical team. You’ll work at the intersection of concept and build, turning creative visions into production-ready drawings using SolidWorks and CAD tools.
This is your chance to work on globally deployed structures, with a company pushing boundaries in lightweight, modular systems.
What You’ll Do
●Produce accurate 2D/3D technical drawings and assemblies in SolidWorks.
●Create part files, exploded assemblies, BOMs, and drawing packs for production.
●Translate architectural concepts into buildable systems using CAD.
●Collaborate with our internal design and external fabrication teams.
●Manage drawing registers and revision control across multiple projects.
●Support R&D for new structural modules and detail refinement of existing systems.
What We’re Looking For
●3+ years of drafting / technical drawing experience (ideally in modular, fabrication, or architectural sectors). We are open to discussing options with more junior engineers. Its attitude first!
●Advanced SolidWorks user (assemblies, detail drawings, BOMs, etc.).
●Comfortable with CAD tools like AutoCAD, Rhino, or Vectorworks.
●Strong grasp of modular construction, fixings, materials (aluminium, timber, tensioned fabrics).
●Detail-oriented, organised, and calm under pressure.
●Driven to create inspiring and engaging structures and systems for events and beyond
Nice to Have
●Experience in event architecture, temporary structures, or exhibition systems.
●Familiarity with fabrication processes and supplier collaboration.
●Bonus: rendering/visualisation skills (KeyShot, V-Ray, etc.).
Why Join AirClad?
●Be part of a design-led, globally recognised brand in modular architecture.
●Work on projects for top-tier clients across events, retail, and sports.
●Influence product development and future systems.
●Flexible working options, real responsibility, and creative freedom.
