Graduate Learning Mentor required ASAP
SEMH Teaching Assistant – extremely rewarding work!
Our client, an extremely successful educational establishment, would be keen to work with graduates (or qualified teaching assistants), who are looking to supplement their experience of working with special educational needs. if you have “Team Teach”, this would be advantageous, but, if you are confident, adaptable and dependable, you will be extremely effective with the young people they care for.
Learning Mentor work provides a great platform for graduates – both with practical experience, and also knowledge to create attractive, engaging personal statements and applications. And don’t worry about all that – our process is really easy, and our consultants are more than happy to help you with your applications to QTS courses when the time is right.
We are looking for a graduate (or similar calibre) to provide 1:1 support to a student across the whole curriculum. This post is to start ASAP and will run until July 2022, with a review for the 2022/23 Academic Year.

8. Minimum rate of pay – £80 per day
9. Hours – 8:30 am – 4:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
10. Degree educated with a good classification
11. Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
12. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
13. Team Teach – advantageous but not essential
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
14. Hold Right to Work in the UK
15. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
16. Provide two professional child related references
