Responsibilities
As a Software Development Manager in the Identity Team you will build and develop high‑performing teams that consistently deliver quality software, empower engineers to own technical decisions, collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to achieve the right outcomes, formulate technical strategy and roadmap, handle high‑pressure situations, and maintain high availability and resilience for customers.
You will also guide and mentor engineers, drive continuous improvement, act as a key technical and people leader, and ensure a positive culture within your domain.
Qualifications
* Experience managing software engineers and supporting their career development and growth.
* Experience leading complex software development programmes.
* Demonstrated experience designing, developing and running highly scalable distributed systems.
* Ability to provide technical leadership and problem‑solving skills in high‑pressure situations to ensure system availability.
* Experience implementing a range of design and architecture patterns.
* Experience providing technical leadership within a team, coaching, supporting and mentoring others.
