The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager who has previous experience in a high volume restaurant environment. You'll play a key role in supporting Restaurant Manager and leading the team on the floor. You'll be hands-on, helping to deliver smooth, high-standard service throughout each shift – from opening to close.
Job Duties:
· Supporting day-to-day operations across bar and restaurant service
· Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure all activities run smoothly and efficiently
· Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen materials
* Has an understanding of cash handling and till operations
* Inspect table layouts in the Restaurant ensuring that they meet the standards set
* Ensure that the stock levels of items for the Restaurant are recorded and notify restaurant Manager when ordering is required
· Enforce health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections to ensure the dining area and kitchen comply with local laws and standards.
· Coordinate with the kitchen staff to manage the timing of meal preparation, ensuring food comes out simultaneously and at the correct temperature.
· Leading by example and guiding junior FOH team members
· Ensuring high standards of customer service and cleanliness
· Handling cash, resolving customer issues, and assisting with stock control
* Interact with guests to help develop a new loyal and engaged customer base.
* Help manage a large and dynamic team to run a smooth service
Skills, Education and experience
· Excellent customer service skills
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Flexibility to work late nights and weekends is essential.
· Applicant must be confident and outgoing to stand out in a fast paced environment.
* Must be self-motivated and a strong motivator for front-of-house members
* Must have experience assisting in the training and development of new team members
* Minimum- 3-5 years of experience as a supervisor or similar role
· A degree or Diploma in hospitality would be an added advantage.

Pay: £31,500.00-£33,500.00 per year
