We are looking for a Cost Accountant to join our team in King's Lynn. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment and contribute to accurate financial reporting and process excellence.
What you’ll do:
1. Maintain the General Ledger of the Industrial UK and Pointing Companies
2. Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial accounts and reports
3. Develop and improve accounting controls
4. Preparation of statutory accounts for the Pointing Group at each financial year end
5. Liaise with External Auditors and HMRC
6. Prepare and review month end reconciliations
7. Calculate product costs and maintain and control the inventory cost database
8. Ensure compliance with Corporate transfer pricing policy and liaise with affiliate sites re new and revised transfer prices for both sales and purchases
9. Attend and participate in regular meetings with BU managers and represent the Finance function in Site Coordination Meetings to review and discuss key KPI’s and the company performance and areas for improvement
10. Manage the payroll process for the Industrial UK company
What you’ll bring:
