North Star Academy Trust is a small multi-academy trust that was set up with the ambition to improve the SEND provision in the South West and provide as many young people as possible with a bespoke, specialist education that is tailored to each individual's needs. We are a small but growing Trust, we currently consist of 4 schools including both Primary and Secondary provisions and an Alternative Provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team working under the direction of our Speech and Language Therapist, delivering therapy, supporting school staff and changing the lives of young people. You will be required to work 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum. Actual salary £25,700 - £27,602 p.a. You will support children to achieve the outcomes agreed by a Speech and Language Therapist in conjunction with the school and family, through a range of activities including: • Working individually with a child/ young person within the school • Modelling strategies to class teachers/ teaching assistants • Working with small groups • Making resources to support student’s speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).
