Overview
QNX is a trusted provider of safe and secure operating systems, hypervisors, frameworks and development tools for embedded systems. We are seeking a Strategic/Global Account Manager (General Embedded) to join our European Sales team and manage QNX products, services and solutions for our largest named accounts, with focus on medical, industrial automation or defense verticals.
You will develop and execute highly effective account plans, build long-term relationships, and propose value-based solutions that help customers meet their strategic objectives. Responsibilities
* Deep dive into named accounts to understand strategic initiatives and end-user markets, aligning QNX value proposition with customer end products to support strategic objectives.
* Build and maintain positive executive customer relationships, manage expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the extended sales team (Field Application Engineer, Customer Success Representative, other Regional Sales Managers, and Business Development Representative) to analyze requirements and deliver product and services while guiding the sales cycle to revenue recognition.
* Help define strategic marketing initiatives, liaise with R&D to communicate customer technical requirements, and ensure support commitments are fulfilled to deliver satisfaction.
* Provide regular forecasting and reporting, manage forecast pipeline accuracy, lead management, and represent the voice of the customer within QNX.
* Represent QNX at industry events, conferences and high-level meetings as an ambassador for our technology.
Frequent travel within Europe is required (up to 50%).
Qualifications
* Experience as a Strategic/Global Account Manager or with strategic/global accounts.
* Track record of consistent sales quota achievement, ideally including new business and upsell.
* Knowledge of the real-time embedded software market within the general embedded domain; domain knowledge in medical, industrial automation or defense is a plus.
* Experience in account planning, negotiating, running and closing major accounts with accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene.
* Experience in consultative software selling and strong interpersonal/relationship management skills.
* Confident and influential communication skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business; MBA or equivalent relevant experience in the embedded market is a plus.
* Ability to conduct business in English; knowledge of another language (German, Spanish or Dutch) is advantageous but not essential.
