Senior Recruitment Consultant – Construction & Housebuilding – Perth / Hybrid Employment Type – Open to full or part time (full time with a fixed half day off every week) Salary – Competitive Commission Are you a Senior Recruitment Consultant looking to work with established clients across Scotland? We are a family-owned specialist recruitment business supporting the Scottish construction and housebuilding sector. Due to continued growth, we’re looking to appoint an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our close knit, high performing team. This is a genuine opportunity to work with an established portfolio of developer and contractor clients across Scotland, many of whom are long-standing repeat partners, delivering senior and specialist appointments within a relationship-led and quality-driven environment. The Role: You will inherit a warm desk with well-established, long-standing client relationships, while also having the opportunity to build and grow your own portfolio of clients. The role will include responsibility for the following: Developing and managing key client relationships across the Scottish housebuilding and construction market, acting as a trusted recruitment partner to developers, main contractors and consultancies, and building long-term relationships through a detailed understanding of each client’s business, projects, culture and future hiring plans. Delivering retained and contingent recruitment campaigns, leading end to end search and selection processes for specialist and hard to fill roles, including targeted candidate engagement, qualification, shortlisting and interview management. Advising clients on market conditions, salary benchmarking and hiring strategy, providing informed, commercially focused guidance on candidate availability, remuneration expectations, competitor activity, role scope and realistic timescales to support better hiring decisions. Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from brief through to offer and aftercare, including vacancy briefing, role marketing, candidate assessment, interview coordination, offer negotiation, counter-offer management, onboarding support and post-placement follow-up to ensure a high-quality, relationship-led service. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in a recruitment role (ideally within construction, engineering or a related technical market). Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills. A professional, consultative and commercially aware approach. High attention to detail and pride in delivering a quality service.
