Overview

Administration Officer — Southwark. Contract. £18.26 per hour. Our client is looking for an experienced Administration Officer. This is one of many opportunities we are currently recruiting for; please visit our website colbernlimited co uk for more jobs.


Responsibilities

* Manage 14,000+ leaseholder accounts and about 1,200 freehold accounts in the Homeownership Accounts Team.
* Handle queries from customers about service charge accounts, set up and manage payment plans, and chase arrears, including making referrals for legal action.
* Resolve enquiries or sign-post customers in relation to the services provided that the homeowners are being charged for.
* Assist the Accounts Officers to manage non-technical correspondence and queries from homeowners and respond to e-forms where appropriate, including sending out statements and breakdowns.
* Under the guidance of the Homeownership Managers and Senior Accounts Officers, be allocated work that is more straightforward to deal with, freeing up the accounts officers to handle more complex issues.


Requirements / Qualifications

* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Proficient in using a range of IT tools and packages.


Working pattern

Initially the working pattern is 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with 100% in the office at Tooley Street during the training period. Tooley Street is between Tower Bridge and London Bridge in SE1 and is a 5-minute walk from London Bridge stations and served by several bus routes (343, 47, 381, 43, 141, 388). Following training, WFH and flexi working arrangements can be discussed with your line manager. We require a minimum of 2–3 days per week in the office.
