Do you have a passion for vehicle mechanics and a sharp eye for detail? We’re looking for a Vehicle Technicianto join our run and test team and play a vital role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of parts destined for resale. This role is key to maintaining high inventory standards and helping us deliver the reliability and satisfaction our customers expect. Working within our Poole site, you'll be responsible for assessing and testing vehicle parts, diagnosing issues, and supporting our stock accuracy and business efficiency.
Location: Poole, Dorset
Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday
Reporting to: Run & Test Supervisor
Requirements of the role:
What You’ll Do
Test vehicle parts to ensure they meet quality and performance standards before resale
Record and create video evidence of tested engine systems and diagnose any mechanical or electrical faults
Use our bespoke database to input tested and identified parts
Support the accuracy of stock levels and help identify new product opportunities
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and contribute to a clean, safe working environment
Collaborate with the wider team and assist with other business needs as directed by your Line Manager
Experience & Essential Qualities:
What You’ll Bring
A strong understanding of modern vehicle systems and diagnostics
Good general education and confidence working with IT systems
Proven mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding experience
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to working to established processes
A proactive, flexible attitude and willingness to support business needs
