Location: Forest to Home Workshop, Melksham
Hours: Full-time (7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday)
We are also open to considering reduced hours (e.g. 9:00am – 3:00pm) to suit candidates looking to work within school hours.

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive, organised, and personable Office & Customer Support Assistant to join our team. This role will be the main point of contact for our residential customers, ensuring they receive excellent service and support throughout the order process. Alongside customer-facing duties, you will also carry out a variety of office administration tasks to support smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Relationship Management
* Act as the first point of contact for customers via email and phone.
* Provide clear and timely updates on order progress.
* Schedule and coordinate customer deliveries.
* Arrange and track the production and dispatch of samples.
* Update and maintain customer records in the CRM system.
* Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction.
* Assist with aftercare queries and coordinate solutions when needed.
Office & Administrative Support
* Manage office administrative tasks to support the wider team.
* Order and monitor stock materials as required.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Essential Skills & Competencies
* Strong written and verbal communication skills – able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.
* Excellent organisational skills – ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
* Customer-focused mindset – approachable, empathetic, and committed to delivering an excellent customer experience.
* IT proficiency – confident in using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), with a basic understanding of Excel formulas (e.g., SUM, AVERAGE, IF).
* Experience with CRM systems – comfortable updating customer records and tracking communications.
* Problem-solving ability – proactive in identifying solutions and resolving customer queries.
* Team player – works well collaboratively, but also capable of taking initiative and working independently.
* Time management – able to manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment.
