This is a full-time role based in Leicester, UK. The Leicester School of Pharmacy invites applications from highly motivated individuals to contribute to teaching the biological sciences that underpin pharmacy practice and to ensure our Pharmacy with Preparatory Year programme remain aligned with the latest scientific developments. You will deliver teaching across the core biological sciences at Level 3 and undergraduate level, and contribute to teaching on other programmes within the School. You may also be asked to support postgraduate teaching in the School. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the School’s research profile.Ideal CandidateYou will hold a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology or Biochemistry along with a PhD in a pharmacology-related field. You will bring experience in teaching and assessing within higher education and demonstrate the ability to contribute to research aligned with the School’s strategic priorities. Essential qualities include strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You will also demonstrate a clear commitment to academic citizenship, actively contributing to the wider academic community.
