Mott MacDonald is a market leader in the UK water sector and a key supplier to major water companies. Our Water Consultancy Division has ambitious growth plans and a strong reputation for engineering and advisory services. Digital transformation is a key element of our growth plan, and we are looking to recruit staff with digital skills and a track record of implementing digital change for water company clients. The role will enable you to work on live commissions, support internal implementation initiatives, and help clients navigate their digital journeys.
Responsibilities
 * Provide strategic advisory services to water company clients.
 * Support the delivery of implementation plans and execution of digital initiatives.
 * Work closely with internal teams and clients to advise on and implement digital change.
 * Assist with knowledge transfer and build future‑proofed services and solutions.
 * Contribute to the development of Mott MacDonald’s Digital and Moata platforms.
Qualifications
 * Degree level education in a subject related to the position.
 * Excellent understanding of digital services and solutions applicable to the UK water industry.
 * Experience managing small digital delivery teams and supporting junior team members’ career development.
 * Track record of working closely with clients to advise and implement digital change.
 * Excellent technical report writing skills using concise English.
 * Strong communication skills and experience in effective collaboration across internal multidisciplinary teams and client teams.
Desirable
 * Chartered status with a recognised professional institution.
 * Experience and track record with applying the principles of ISO19650.
 * Experience with change‑management principles.
 * Experience working within the UK water industry.
 * Experience with Python, PowerAutomate & PowerBI.
 * Experience with ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud or Sharepoint.
